Mohibuddin Muslim Educational Society

Mangranwan is the largest Muslim populated village of Azamgarh district in Uttar Pradesh. Since long time cultivation has been main occupation of the inhabitants of this village. Some people have tried their luck in foreign countries also but their number is very small. In 1958, when mutual dispersions and bickerings took a dangerous turm, some good intentioned people took note of it seriously. After deep study of the changing situation, pace of events and its impact on the village life they came to the conclusion that illitracy and lack of constructive programmes are root cause of the most problems. Therefore it was decided that there should be reasonable arrangement for the education of the new generation, so that our youth along with religious education could acquire a better and respectful position as a good citizen in New India. One should be fully aware of our religion and culture on the one hand and self dependent and full of confidence in the field of employment on the other. At that time a religious 'Maktab' was working in this village but it was not in a good condition. Therefore an arrangement was made of the present place as a first step and later on for this purpose a seperate building was made. I: was being managed by "Mohibuddin Muslim Educational Society" Mangrawan Azamgarh.

The Society has established the following institutions. Every institution has its own fund and management . Besides these all institutions are in one campus which is purhaps the only example of his kind in U.P.

  • Madrasa Arbia Quasim-ul-uloom Mangranwan.
  • Madrasatul Banat, Mangranwan.
